Just Dance

Let the kids let loose with some dance moves on the big screen. Whether it's to loosen up between lessons or a quick cool down before lunch.

Music Unit of Work

Want to teach your students how to read music but weren't sure where to start? Let this unit of work take you through the steps. It's easy as A-B-C or Do-Re-Mi.

Drama

Sometimes the best thing to do is just let the kids let go. Improvisation is a great way for kids to express their feelings and try new things.

Visual Art

Japanese Notan - The balance between light and dark, space and solid. There is also a powerpoint containing examples, history, significance and a link to a YouTube video which demonstrates the technique. You will need coloured paper, white paper, scissors and glue.

Mona Lisa - Group Art

When my class completed this activity they had been working on reproducing and resizing art using grids. So for this activity I cut up an A4 version of the Mona Lisa with a number on the back of it. They had to resize it onto a bigger square so that when put back together the Mona Lisa would be A3.
